GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Assist Mail Services and Copy Center with daily operations such as mail & package delivery and related functions.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are typical responsibilities associated with this position. The specific responsibilities may vary and will be assigned accordingly by the supervisor.
Assist with mail & package delivery.
Unload delivery trucks, move packages and equipment in loading dock and receiving area.
Help prepare mailings and fill supply orders.
Assist Copy Center with duplicating jobs, e.g. cut, assemble, staple, laminate, etc.
Assist with inventory updates and related projects.
Other related functions as requested.
Job Requirements:
SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.
Ability to walk and move delivery carts around campus.
Customer service oriented.
NYS driver's license preferred but not required.
Equipment Used:
May use computer for occasional directory reference, and possibly other projects depending upon skill level.
Physical Demands:
Position involves lifting and moving of packages generally up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more than 100 lbs.
Additional Information:
Work Schedule / Availability: Position starts January 20. Work hours may be flexible Mon-Fri between 8 am and 3 pm.
