Our client is a leading Cisco Reseller specializing in providing comprehensive networking solutions to businesses of all sizes. With a focus on Cisco Unified Communications (UC), they pride themselves on delivering cutting-edge technology and exceptional service to their clients.

Job Description:
They are seeking a skilled Cisco UC Engineer to join their team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco Unified Communications solutions for their clients. As a Cisco UC Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the sales team and clients to understand their communication needs and develop customized UC solutions that meet their requirements.
Responsibilities:
  1. Solution Design: Work closely with the sales team and clients to gather requirements and design Cisco Unified Communications solutions tailored to client needs. This includes assessing existing infrastructure, recommending enhancements, and creating detailed design documentation.
  2. Implementation: Lead the implementation of Cisco UC solutions, including installing, configuring, and testing hardware and software components such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CME).
  3. Integration: Integrate Cisco UC solutions with existing network infrastructure, third-party applications, and cloud services to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
  4. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Cisco UC solutions, including diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing system upgrades, and implementing security patches and fixes.
  5. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Cisco UC solutions, configurations, and procedures to ensure smooth operations and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  6. Training: Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients' IT staff to enable them to effectively manage and maintain Cisco UC solutions post-implementation.
  7. Stay Updated: Stay abreast of latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Cisco Unified Communications and related areas to continuously enhance expertise and drive innovation in solution design and implementation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or CCIE Collaboration preferred.
  • Experience with Cisco on-prem/cloud, Cisco Webex and MS Teams ​experience 
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco Unified Communications solutions.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco UC components including CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, CUBE, and CME.
  • Experience with integrating Cisco UC solutions with third-party applications and cloud services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, sales team, and technical staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
