Your Role as Shift Lead:

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and fellow Shift Leads to ensure smooth store operations.
• Leadership: Supervise and lead shifts (morning, mid, or closing) with 2-6 crew members.
• Quality Control: Drive the crew to consistently produce high-quality, from-scratch desserts.
• Customer Engagement: Ensure every customer has a positive experience and stays informed about new products.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Make important calls on when to prepare more desserts.
• Operational Excellence: Report on bakery conditions and inventory to leadership.
• Training and Development: Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Key Holder: Assist with opening and closing tasks.
• Defined Role: Shift leads do not participate in hiring or firing decisions and do not issue disciplinary actions.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Culinary or Associate degree preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in the food & beverage industry is preferred (ServeSafe certification or willingness to complete training).
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Flexibility: Availability for full-time shifts Mon-Sat, with 1 day off in addition to ALL Sundays off and many major holidays.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.

Work Schedule:

• Guaranteed Day Off: Crumbl Cookies is closed on Sundays.
• Prime Shifts: Availability required for Friday and Saturday shifts.
• Rotating Shifts: Shifts rotate weekly between opening & mid shifts or mid & closing shifts.
• Priority Consideration: Applicants with open availability are given priority for promotions.
