Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

The Senior FP&A Analyst reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet analysis, auditing, and other general accounting functions. This role plays a key part in providing accurate and timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making and operational performance.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review all significant financial information provided to operations and corporate management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support monthly financial closings, forecast updates, and annual operating budget preparation.
  • Contribute to special projects, including business case analysis, ad hoc reporting, and financial support for strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain and evaluate internal control systems through data validation, outlier detection, and variance analysis to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare account reconciliations, actively investigate discrepancies, and recommend resolutions.
  • Generate and analyze accounting-related reports to support management decision-making.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and review.
  • Analyze and interpret accounting records for use by management in operational and strategic planning.
  • Provide support to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll as needed.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies; immediately report unsafe conditions, near-misses, or injuries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment - Full-time, on-site position within a manufacturing facility.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 , plus bonus.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401(k), and medical coverage.
  • Eligibility: U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, or Permanent Residency required.
