St. Dominic is seeking a passionate and responsible Seasonal Coach to lead and mentor student-athletes. The ideal candidate will serve as a positive role model who promotes teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth in a Christ-centered environment.
Plan and conduct practices that develop skills, physical fitness, and teamwork
Supervise and manage student-athletes during practices, games, and travel
Teach and reinforce good sportsmanship, respect, and Catholic values on and off the field
Collaborate with the Athletic Director, other coaches, and school staff to ensure a positive athletic experience
Communicate clearly with athletes, parents, and school administration regarding schedules, expectations, and team needs
Maintain equipment and ensure student safety at all times
Follow school and league policies and diocesan guidelines, including Safe Environment protocols
Model Christian behavior and promote the mission of Catholic education through leadership
Prior coaching or playing experience in the sport preferred
Knowledge of the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport
Practicing Catholic preferred; must support the values and teachings of the Catholic Church
Ability to lead with integrity, fairness, and compassion
Must complete all required diocesan Safe Environment training and background checks
First Aid/CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
