A school-based organization is seeking a School Social Worker to support students, families, and staff by providing comprehensive social-emotional and behavioral services. The role focuses on fostering student success through intervention, advocacy, and collaboration within an educational setting.
ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group counseling to students
Assess social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
Develop and implement intervention and support plans
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
Communicate with families and caregivers regarding student progress
Connect students and families with community resources
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and school initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
