Position Summary:

The School Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and sanitary environment throughout the school premises. This includes classrooms hallways restrooms offices and common areas. The role ensures that students staff and visitors experience a well-maintained facility that supports learning and safety.

Pay: $20.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicantsexperience skills abilities geographic locationand alignment with market data.

Shift: Night Shift 6pm - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Cleaning Duties:

• Sweep mop vacuum and dust classrooms hallways and offices.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms replenish supplies and empty trash receptacles.
• Maintain cleanliness in cafeterias gyms and other common areas.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues safety hazards or repairs needed.

Event & Seasonal Support:

• Assist with setup and cleanup for school events and activities.
• Perform deep cleaning during school breaks and summer months.

Equipment & Supplies:

• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning tools and machines.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques safety procedures and basic maintenance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
