Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) Consultant to join our Application Management Services (AMS) team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP BOBJ tools, SAP data migration, and ETL concepts. You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing SAP BusinessObjects reporting and analytics solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure our reporting platforms run smoothly, efficiently, and remain highly available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day support, administration, and maintenance of SAP BusinessObjects reporting environments.
• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using BOBJ tools (WebI, Crystal Reports, IDT/UDT, etc.).
• Work on SAP data migration activities and support ETL processes as needed.
• Monitor system performance, perform tuning, and ensure high availability and optimal performance of reporting platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and convert them into effective BI solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues related to reports, data inconsistencies, and system performance.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, migrations, and enhancements.
• Ensure security, access management, and governance within the BOBJ environment.
• Prepare documentation, technical specifications, and operational support guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience working with SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Crystal Reports, IDT, UDT, Dashboards, etc.).
• Strong understanding of SAP Data Migration, ETL processes, and integration with backend SAP systems.
• Experience supporting production BI environments in an AMS or similar support model.
• Good knowledge of SQL queries, data modelling concepts, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work closely with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into BI solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving reporting issues, data mismatches, and performance problems.
• Experience with system upgrades, patching, and platform administration is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
