We are looking for a skilled and dependable Plant Mechanic with a CDL to join our team. This position involves maintaining, repairing, and installing pumps and related mechanical equipment, as well as operating company vehicles for deliveries, pickups, and field support. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in both the shop and the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and municipal pumps, valves, and rotating equipment.
Perform mechanical maintenance, rebuilds, and alignments.
Operate company trucks to transport pumps, parts, and equipment to job sites (Class B CDL required).
Assist with field service, pump installation, and removal.
Maintain accurate repair and service records.
Keep work area and vehicles clean, safe, and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
Valid Class B CDL (Class A preferred).
2+ years of mechanical repair or maintenance experience (pump or industrial preferred).
Ability to read mechanical drawings and use standard hand/power tools.
Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
