We are seeking compassionate and motivated Certified Peer Specialists to join our team and support individuals on their mental health recovery journey. As a peer specialist, you will use your own lived experience to inspire hope, provide support, and help others build a path toward wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Offer peer-to-peer support and mentorship to individuals receiving mental health services
- Share recovery experiences and model successful coping strategies
- Help empower clients to set and achieve personal recovery goals
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Peer Specialist Certification
- Lived experience with mental health recovery (personal or through a close family member)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, reliability, and a non-judgmental attitude
Location: Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island
