Location: Remote (Must reside in Georgia)
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $12hr
Schedule: every other Thursday & Friday
Handle patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
Manage electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
Assist with medical billing and insurance verification
Communicate with patients via phone, email, or secure messaging
Process referrals and follow-up paperwork
Support providers with day-to-day administrative needs
Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
Must currently reside in the state of Georgia
Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical administrative or assistant role
Own computer/laptop , reliable internet, and a cell phone
Must be comfortable downloading and using a company-approved time-tracking system on your device – only hours verified through this system will be paid
Strong computer skills and familiarity with EHR platforms (e.g., Athenahealth, Kareo, or Epic)
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or Medical Administrative Assistant
Experience working in a remote or virtual healthcare setting
