Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experiencedCardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C)to join our dynamic surgical team inTexarkana, TX. This advanced practice provider will work closely with cardiothoracic surgeons and the surgical team to provide perioperative care with a focus onfirst assisting in the ORandendoscopic or open vein harvesting. Key Responsibilities

* Serve asfirst assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABG and valve surgeries * Performvein harvestingusing endoscopic or open techniques * Manage pre- and post-operative care in collaboration with the cardiothoracic surgery team * Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and develop treatment plans * Round on post-op patients in the ICU and on the floor * Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge plans * Document care and procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) * Participate in call coverage as scheduled

✅ Required Qualifications

* Current Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas * NCCPA certification required * Minimum of 2 years of experiencein cardiothoracic surgery with demonstrated proficiency infirst assistandvein harvesting * BLS and ACLS certifications required * Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in high-acuity settings * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Schedule & Compensation

* Full-time, including shared call responsibilities * Competitive compensation commensurate with experience * Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available
