Job Title: Oracle APEX Developer/ Developer/Programmer Analyst 3.
Location: Remote or Onsite (as determined by project needs) - MUST RESIDE WITHIN 50 MILES OF THE AUSTIN, TX CITY LIMITS.
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time- MUST LIVE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS TO BE CONSIDERED

Experience Level: Mid to Senior-Level.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in web technologies, Oracle Application Express (APEX), and backend development using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. This role requires hands-on experience in managing and optimizing Oracle databases, integrating APEX plugins, and delivering high-quality web applications that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
• Utilize JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces.
• Develop and maintain backend processes using Oracle SQL for data modeling and PL/SQL for application logic.
• Manage and optimize Oracle Database performance, including indexing, query tuning, and schema design.
• Integrate and customize APEX plugins to extend application functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, implement solutions, and ensure project delivery timelines are met.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and database issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8 years – Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for web application front-end development.
• 3 years – Proven expertise in Oracle APEX for developing and deploying enterprise-grade applications.
• 3 years – Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL (data modeling) and PL/SQL (backend programming).
• 3 years – Experience in Oracle Database management and performance optimization.
• 3 years – Familiarity with integrating and customizing APEX plugins.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with application security best practices in Oracle APEX.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services integration within APEX applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
