Career Consulting Partners is proud to partner with a thriving California-based law firm that is expanding into Seattle, Washington . This position is fully remote initially, with plans to transition onsite in 3–6 months at the Downtown Seattle office.
The firm represents employees and consumers in high-impact class and representative actions, handling matters such as wage-and-hour violations, discrimination, unfair business practices, and false advertising . With a track record of litigating against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies, the firm has recovered millions of dollars for thousands of clients nationwide.
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Legal Assistant to join the firm’s expanding team. This role provides direct exposure to all aspects of plaintiffs’ side litigation and the chance to work on high-stakes class and representative actions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to supporting attorneys in delivering exceptional results for clients.
Assist attorneys with case management, including client and witness interviews, drafting summaries, and organizing case materials.
Draft legal documents, file motions, pleadings, and ensure compliance with court procedures.
Maintain case files, track evidence, exhibits, depositions, and other key materials.
Input and manage deadlines, court dates, depositions, hearings, and client meetings in the firm’s calendaring system.
Calculate and double-check deadlines according to relevant statutes and court rules.
Manage scheduling conflicts and assist with special projects as assigned.
Maintain organized records and enter documents into the firm’s database.
Perform other duties as needed, ensuring confidentiality and professional discretion at all times.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
Understanding of legal principles, court procedures, pleadings, and legal research.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Minimum of 1 year of legal assistant experience in litigation.
Salary: $30 - $40 an hour
