What You Will Be Doing
• Guiding students through the process of setting personal learning objectives and helping them develop self-directed learning habits.
• Delivering focused instruction in foundational literacy and social-emotional competencies, working closely with Reading Specialists.
• Creating a classroom culture that promotes curiosity and perseverance through engaging, experiential learning activities.
• Integrating AI-powered educational tools to improve learning outcomes and equip students for a future where technology and traditional instruction work together.
• Working alongside educators and counselors to address each student's distinct learning profile, adjusting instruction to meet varied needs and preferences.

Depending exclusively on conventional teaching strategies without incorporating modern educational technology.
Applying uniform instructional methods—our approach values and cultivates each learner's individuality.
Prioritizing academic content at the expense of social and emotional growth.
Kindergarten Teacher Key Responsibilities
Lead the cultivation of independent learning skills and essential life competencies for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, establishing a foundation for long-term academic achievement and personal development.
Basic Requirements
• Available to work on-site at one of our campus locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Tampa, FL; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years working with children between the ages of 4 and 8 in educational programs, afterschool care, athletic programs, or similar environments.
• Demonstrated capacity to apply growth mindset principles and high-performance coaching techniques.
• Enthusiastic and confident using AI and emerging technologies within educational contexts.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements
These qualifications will strengthen your candidacy, though you are encouraged to apply if you satisfy the core requirements listed above!
• Academic credentials or certification in fields connected to early childhood (education, child development, reading intervention, etc.)
• Professional certifications or specialized training in early childhood pedagogies including CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia.
• Background as a K-2 classroom teacher, reading coach, or literacy specialist, with formal preparation or ongoing professional learning in reading and phonics frameworks.
• Familiarity with educational environments that prioritize individualized learning trajectories and technology integration.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
