Jailer/Correctional Officer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor inmates to ensure Inmate daily care and safety.
• Maintain order and discipline within the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of cells and common areas.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations.
• Escort inmates to and from court appearances and other appointments.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Physical fitness and the ability to restrain individuals if necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License
