Job Description

The Human Resources Intern will support the Talent Acquisition team with key recruiting initiatives, including candidate sourcing, applicant tracking, and internship program coordination. Responsibilities include researching and identifying potential candidates through online platforms, assisting with job postings and interview scheduling, and supporting the execution of internship program events and activities. The intern will also contribute to recruiting analytics by maintaining dashboards, tracking key hiring metrics, and preparing reports to inform decision-making.

  • Assist with candidate sourcing on recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and Handshake.
  • Draft and post job descriptions to online platforms and monitor applicant flow.
  • Conduct initial outreach to candidates through messages, emails, and phone calls.
  • Support interview coordination, including scheduling and communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of internship program activities and events.
  • Maintain accurate applicant and recruiting data in applicant tracking systems and spreadsheets.
  • Prepare and update recruiting reports and dashboards, leveraging Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR and Talent Acquisition team as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (major or minor in Human Resources strongly preferred).
  • Strong interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, and HR practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable making phone calls to candidates.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, or Handshake is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
