Job Description

Total Flight Solutions has an open position to be filled immediately for an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor to join our team. You will receive competitive hourly pay. This position will operate out of Triangle North Executive airport (LHZ). 

Assistant Chief Flight Instructor will serve as Instructor of record for all flight training courses in the Airplane 141 program. They will provide training, mentoring, and leadership to students and instructors.

 

Duties:

• Responsible for providing excellent customer service.
• Oversees Flight Instructors by conducting stage checks, end-of-course checks, quarterly reviews.
• Communicates with prospective students regarding flight programs and guides through the onboarding process.
• Conducts both ground and flight instruction on airplane single engine land including the use of our simulator.
• Provides a safe and effective training environment for all flight operations.
• Evaluates student performance and ensures training records are in accordance with Part 141 requirements.
• Contact customers to respond to inquiries.
• Ability to work in a group or team setting.
• This position offers a flexible schedule.

Minimum Qualifications :

• FAA Certified Flight Instructor and Instrument Instructor with a clean safety record.
• Meets at least 141.36 preferably 141.35 Assistant Chief Instructor requirements for the Private, Instrument and Commercial courses.
• Cessna 172 and some Baron 55 time.
• Situated within a reasonable commuting distance from the LHZ airport.
