• Candidate should have 8+ years testing experience.
• Expert in ETL, SQL, backend database, E2E testing skills/experiences
• This person would be leading a small/medium sized project and will have one to two offshore testers that they would need to manage their work and capable of providing need to complete status reports, testing documentation (Test Strategy, Plan, etc).
• Managing requirements gathering, system analysis and finalization of technical / functional specifications
• Creating and managing the estimates, Test Strategy, plan, schedule, resource allocation and expenses to meet the targets
• Expertise in Regression test suite creation
• Experience in banking projects
• Prior experience in wealth management domain is a plus
• Preparing QA metrics and active participation in QA process activities
• Mapping analysis of every module of the software; preparing test scripts for testing the configured scenarios
• Identifying, conceptualizing, and documenting technical solution approaches for various business scenarios and challenges
• Driving the efforts towards maintaining software quality assurance practices; adhering to company standards for functional test coverage
• Preparing and Organizing Test strategy, Test plan, Test Scripts and Test results summary walkthrough/review meetings to ensure timely completion and delivery of the project to client.
• Preparing, designing and leading the test strategy and test plan for all projects; carrying out review activities such as requirements review, design review, test strategy review and test case review
• Supporting Business users during User Acceptance Testing.
• Interacting with team members to ensure smooth progress of project work; ensuring adherence to quality norms throughout the implementation process
• Facilitating defect triage by performing root cause analysis for defects and project status discussions with Business Owners and other Stakeholders
• Developing and sending dashboards & daily status reports to clients
• Sound knowledge and experienced in Waterfall & Agile Testing Processes and Dev Ops Methodologies
• Testing of end-to-end data lifecycle: source data ingestion, batch data, data transformation
• Creating Automation Test scripts and test data preparation by analyzing the test documents
• Write test data scripts, Execute data scripts and detailed analysis on the scripts
• Create strategies and test cases for applications
• Execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of data related projects
