Job Description

Salary: $37,440 - 52,000 per year Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing a degree or certification in the cybersecurity domain
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of Antivirus/Endpoint Detection and Response software
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 Security protocols
  • Experience with MDR/SIEM Alerting systems
  • Proficiency in Penetration Testing and related tools
  • Capability in Network Monitoring
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Previous exposure to IT in practical environments is a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as A+, Microsoft certifications, or entry-level security certificates are desirable
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to clients as part of the service desk
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software challenges
  • Familiarize with MSP tools and client-specific environments
  • Keep records of support activities in the ticketing system
  • Aid in penetration testing tasks alongside the security team
  • Contribute to cybersecurity evaluation processes
  • React to alerts generated by various security systems
  • Assist in managing incident response protocols
  • Help with log data analysis
  • Conduct research on CVEs and take part in remediation efforts
  • Update ticket statuses and maintain logs of research activities
  • Offer support to the Security Operations Manager as necessary
