Job Description

The 1000heads team is a proud, powerful collective of social copy and design obsessives and experts. You will work closely with a whole host of departmental specialists — from Creative, Accounts, Insights, Paid Media, and Strategy — to deliver transformational social-first work for our clients.

We are looking for a social copywriter, with a deep understanding of social culture and creative. Any demonstrated expertise copywriting for successful social brands would make you a good fit for this role, but a TikTok track record would definitely stand out.

In this role you’ll be writing daily text-only copy while also ideating and executing monthly content to be posted across a variety of social channels. You should also be able to demonstrate an understanding of Gen Z tone, humor, culture, trends, or all the above.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• End-to-end ownership of asset creation in tandem with your art partner, with input or direction from your creative lead as needed
• Daily text-only engagement copy
• Evergreen social ideation and copywriting across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and any emerging social platform
• Ability to incorporate feedback constructively either into your work or creative process
• General passion for social, and over time a mastery and complete understanding of both TikTok and Gen Z culture
• Proactive creative ideation and execution
• Client presentation
• Time management and prioritization

Requirements

• This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in office required. You must reside in one of our US office locations: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami
• 2-5 years of proven agency experience (with social agency or client experiences preferred)
• A portfolio that demonstrates your social creativity

SALARY RANGE

$70,000 - $90,000
