Eastern Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat is seeking an Audiology Assistant to work closely with our Audiology Department. The ideal candidate for the Audiology Admin. Assistant will provide critical clerical, organizational and operational support to our Audiology Team ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. The candidate should be detailed oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Audiology Department team including Scheduling, Correspondence, and documentation.
- Assist with maintaining audiology equipment inventories, service logs, and equipment repair
- Ability to track orders for incoming and outgoing Audiology equipment
- Organizing of Audiology supplies, hearing aids, etc.
- Assist Audiologist with scheduling issues, as well as schedule patients for Audiology Appointments
- Maintain Inventory Data Base
Requirements:
- High Scholl diploma or higher education
- 1-3 years of administrative or office support, scheduling experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with audiology equipment and technology preferred
- Excellent Written and verbal communications
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Light lifting (up to 25lbs)
